How much does it cost to store with Ezebox?
Storage from $4.75/day or $33.25/week, including GST. Your price depends on the size and number of boxes, storage term and transport requirements. Personalised storage prices are provided only at quote.ezebox.com.au after you enter your contact details. Storage is separate from transport and loading charges. All prices include GST. Refer to your quote for the services, charges and inclusions that apply to your booking. There is no minimum rental duration, but a minimum 1-month storage charge applies, even if you store for 1 day or 3 weeks. Beyond the first month, storage is prorated to the day. If you select a lower rate for a longer term and leave early, we may adjust your rate to reflect your actual stay.
How big is an Ezebox?
Each Ezebox holds approximately 7 cubic metres of space — enough for 1 to 1.5 rooms of furniture and belongings. Internal dimensions: H 2.0m × W 1.5m × D 2.3m. External dimensions: H 2.2m × W 1.6m × D 2.4m. Use the internal dimensions for packing. The maximum weight capacity per unit is 1,500 kg. Use our Storage Calculator to estimate how many you'll need.
Is my Ezebox weather resistant?
Your Ezebox is protected on the truck by its body or weatherproof canvas, then stored inside our secure, weatherproof warehouse with alarms and 24/7 CCTV. All boxes are stored at our facility, not at customer properties. Storage is not climate-controlled.
How much weight can an Ezebox hold?
An Ezebox can hold up to 1.5 tonnes of weight. You’re unlikely to exceed this limit loading regular household items, but if you have a lot of books and paperwork, machinery and tools then it would be a good idea to spread these especially heavy items equally between your Ezeboxes. If in doubt, please reach out to our friendly team for advice.
How many Ezeboxes will I need?
Generally, you will need one Ezebox for every 1-1.5 rooms’ worth of items, something like a studio apartment worth. To check how many Ezeboxes you may need, try our Storage Calculator. If in doubt, you can always order an extra Ezebox as you won’t pay for it unless you use it!
How do I prepare my items for storage?
You need to have all items ready to be loaded into the Ezebox when our team arrives. This means small items packed into proper moving / storage boxes, secured with paper so nothing can move about in transit. Larger items should be wrapped in bubble wrap, protective pads or blankets, (we can supply these if required). It is your responsibility to ensure your items are prepared appropriately for storage.
How do I access my stored items?
Warehouse visits are available by arrangement with two business days' notice, Monday–Friday 9am–5pm and Saturday 9am–12pm. Visits are unlimited and you can add or remove items. Access is free with two business days' notice; shorter-notice access is subject to availability and may incur a $50 fee. There is no 24/7 customer access. Visits take place at 40/400 Somerville Road, West Footscray VIC 3012. Call 1300 393 269 or email contact@ezebox.com.au to arrange your visit. Please advise us at least 24 hours before your booked warehouse visit if you cannot attend. Failure to give that notice may incur a discretionary $50 no-show charge including GST. This is separate from the short-notice access fee and does not apply to general storage cancellation. The warehouse visit notice period is not a promised return-delivery time. Redelivery depends on your selected service, advance payment and team availability. We recommend a minimum of 7 days’ notice; this is not a guaranteed turnaround time. Customer-unloading return includes retrieval from storage, loading your Ezebox onto the truck, transport within 30 minutes of the warehouse and one hour onsite per box, but not unloading labour. Crew-unloading return includes unloading labour, with one hour onsite per box. The box stays on the truck during unloading. Additional transport or onsite time costs $199/hour including GST, charged in 15-minute increments. You can also collect your belongings yourself; warehouse collection and drop-off are always self-load/unload.
Can I rent a storage unit for a short period of time?

What can't I put in an Ezebox?
Prohibited items are fuel; LPG cylinders, including empty cylinders; paint and solvents; chemicals; fireworks; aerosol cans; loose lithium batteries; e-bike batteries; food and perishables; plants; animals; firearms and ammunition; cash and jewellery; and damp or mouldy goods. Fridges and freezers are accepted if cleared out and dry. Contact our team if you are unsure about an item.

Your Ezebox is protected on the truck by its body or weatherproof canvas, then stored inside our secure, weatherproof warehouse with alarms and 24/7 CCTV. All boxes are stored at our facility, not at customer properties. Storage is not climate-controlled. Our only storage warehouse is at 40/400 Somerville Road, West Footscray VIC 3012. Other locations are service areas, not warehouses. Insurance is entirely customer-arranged and paid separately. It is not included in storage, transport or loading charges.
