Your quoted price includes delivery of the Ezebox to your door, our trained crew loading your items, secure storage in our Melbourne facility, and collection / return delivery. Additional services such as extra access visits or packing materials are priced separately.

No. We believe in transparent pricing. The only costs outside your quoted storage rate are optional add-ons you choose (such as extra access visits, packing materials, or heavy-item surcharges). We'll always disclose these upfront.

Delivery is included in your storage package. There is no separate delivery fee for the initial drop-off or the final return of your items at the end of your storage period.

We recommend booking at least 3–5 business days in advance to secure your preferred date and time. For urgent storage needs, call us directly at 1300 393 269 and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Yes — changes can be made up to 48 hours before your scheduled booking with no fee. Changes within 48 hours may incur a rescheduling fee. Simply log into My Ezebox or call our team.

The day before your booking, our team will call or SMS to confirm your arrival window. On the day, you'll receive real-time ETA updates. Our crew will arrive, assess your items, load your Ezebox efficiently, and then transport it to our secure facility.

Each Ezebox holds approximately 7 cubic metres of space — enough for 1 to 1.5 rooms of furniture and belongings. The maximum weight capacity per unit is 1,500 kg. Use our Storage Calculator to estimate how many you'll need.

Yes. Your items are stored in a secure, alarmed Melbourne warehouse. Each Ezebox unit is locked individually. Our facility is not accessible to the public — only Ezebox staff under strict security protocols. We're also fully insured.

Prohibited items include hazardous materials, flammable liquids, aerosols, food and perishables, living plants or animals, firearms, and any illegal items. For a full list, refer to our Terms of Use or speak with our team.

No — Ezeboxes are designed for household furniture and business items. We don't currently offer vehicle, boat, or caravan storage. Contact our team for a referral to a suitable vehicle storage provider.

Ezebox is a valet storage service — meaning you don't visit our facility. To access your items, simply give us 24 hours' notice and we'll deliver your Ezebox to you. You can then retrieve what you need and we'll collect it again.

Our facility is not open to public visits. This model is what keeps your storage secure and our pricing competitive. If you need to access items, we deliver to you. One included access visit is part of most packages.

You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before your scheduled date with no fee. Cancellations within 48 hours will forfeit the booking deposit. For ongoing storage, you can cancel at the end of any calendar month with 14 days' written notice.

If you cancel your ongoing storage, we'll schedule a delivery of your Ezebox back to your nominated address. This final return delivery is included in your package. You'll need to arrange for the items to be unloaded within the agreed time window.

Most local moves are billed by the minute, starting at $99/hr for 2 movers + truck. We give you an estimate up-front based on the size of your move and access. Bigger or interstate jobs get a fixed all-inclusive quote after a 5-minute video survey.

Two trained, AFRA-aligned removalists, a fully insured truck, basic furniture protection (blankets, straps, dollies), and door-to-door travel time within Melbourne. Boxes, packing materials and packing labour are optional add-ons.

Yes — local moves have a 2-hour minimum. After that, you're only billed for the time we actually take, in 6-minute increments. No rounding up to the next hour.

We take a $99 booking deposit at the time of booking to lock in your date and crew. It's fully refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before move day, and it comes off your final invoice.

Yes — every Ezebox crew carries $5M public liability plus transit insurance on every job. Optional contents-in-transit cover can be added at quote time.

Local bookings can usually be filled within 2–3 days. For weekends and end-of-month we recommend 1–2 weeks ahead. Interstate moves are best booked 2–4 weeks out so we can plan the route.

Yes — you can reschedule for free up to 48 hours before your move. Inside 48 hours we'll do our best to fit you in but the deposit may be forfeited if we can't backfill the slot.

Yes — regular runs to Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra. Less-common destinations are available as a dedicated truck. All interstate jobs are fixed rate, door-to-door.

Yes. Our packing crew brings boxes, paper, bubble wrap and tape, and will professionally pack everything from kitchens to home offices. You can also book partial packing — e.g. just the kitchen and fragile items.

Absolutely. We can pack the truck, store your goods in our secure Melbourne facility for as long as you need, then redeliver to your new place. Ask about our combined move + store discount.

Yes — we move upright pianos, pool tables, safes, gym equipment and similar specialty items as part of a normal move. Just flag them at booking so we send the right crew size and equipment.

Most local jobs run with a 6-tonne pantech (~38 m³) which fits a typical 2–3 bedroom home in one trip. Larger homes get an 8 or 10-tonne truck, or a second crew on the day. We size the truck to your inventory at quote time.

The day before your move we'll confirm a 1-hour arrival window. On the day you'll get a live ETA SMS as the crew departs the depot, and a phone call when they're 15 minutes away.

Have everything packed (unless you've booked our packing service), reserve a parking spot or loading bay for the truck, and disconnect/empty the fridge and washing machine. We'll handle the rest.

Yes — beds, tables and most flat-pack furniture are taken apart at pickup and reassembled at the new place as part of the hourly rate. Hardware is bagged and labelled so nothing goes missing.

Let us know about stairs, narrow driveways, parking restrictions or lifts at booking and we'll plan around them. If a permit is required (e.g. CBD loading bays) we can advise on the council process.

Cancel for free up to 48 hours before your scheduled move and your $99 deposit is fully refunded. Inside 48 hours the deposit is forfeited unless we can backfill the slot. Same-day cancellations may incur an additional fee.

We move in the rain — our crews carry plastic wrap and protective blankets to keep your items dry. We only postpone for safety reasons (e.g. severe storms or flooding) and there's no charge to reschedule in that case.
