Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. Our warehouse is open 6 days, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturday 9am – 12pm.
Our rates start from as little as $22.95 per week for long term storage, but total costs depend on exactly how much space you need, how long for and what (if any) additional services you need, i.e. transport & / or removalists, insurance, packing materials etc. The best way to get a personalised quote quote is to submit your request on ezebox.com.au and our system will generate a price for you immediately. We can also have one of our storage experts talk you through the best options for your situation, (that is not always Ezebox!)

Every Ezebox holds a massive 7m3 so there’s plenty of room for your stuff. How much is 7m3? Well, think of it as 1.5 to 2 rooms of furniture… or 140 packaging boxes… or all the gear an adrenaline junkie might own from surfboards to skis to mountain bikes and more.

Typically one Ezebox holds the contents of a small 1 bedroom or studio apartment, but keep in mind everyone’s stuff is different! Ezeboxes have a large door for easy access and can hold up to 1.5 tonnes of weight.

An Ezebox can hold up to 1.5 tonnes of weight. You’re unlikely to exceed this limit loading regular household items, but if you have a lot of books and paperwork, machinery and tools then it would be a good idea to spread these especially heavy items equally between your Ezeboxes. If in doubt, please reach out to our friendly team for advice.
Yes! We do not ever store your precious items outside. We bring your Ezebox in a weather resistant cover or inside an enclosed truck or trailer to ensure your items are never exposed to bad weather. Each Ezebox is made from strengthened plywood, (which breathes) ensuring your items return to you in the same condition that they were when you stored them.

Generally, you will need one Ezebox for every 1-1.5 rooms’ worth of items, something like a studio apartment worth… To check how many Ezeboxes you may need, try our Storage Calculator. If in doubt, you can always order an extra Ezebox as you won’t pay for it unless you use it!

Yes! Ezebox has 3 easy ways to move into and out of storage: 1. Our Ezeload / Eze-unload service. Two experienced removalists will lift and load your packed items from your home straight into the Ezebox onsite. And from the Ezebox into your new home/office when you want everything back again. 2. Our Self-load / unload service. You lift and load your packed items into / out of the Ezebox onsite. 3. Warehouse load / unload. You drive your items to one of our convenient locations and lift and load your items into or out of the Ezebox at our warehouse. *(Charges apply for Ezeload & Self-load services based on the space required). Yes! Access is available for 6 days. Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm and Saturday 9am – 12pm. Just call (1300 393 269) or email your request to contact@ezebox.com.au with 2 business days notice so we can have your Ezebox ready to go when you arrive.
If it’s worth storing, it’s worth insuring! We can arrange contents insurance cover for your items whilst in storage for as little as $5 per month for every $1,000 of insured contents (starting from a minimum of $5,000 insured). More information on storage insurance is available here.
Mobile storage means we bring the storage space to you. You only load once. We deliver our Ezeboxes to your home or office where you can load your items directly inside, (or we can load them for you) we then forklift your whole storage unit off our truck and into the warehouse for safe keeping. This means there is no need to hire a truck or pay removalists to drive all over town. Mobile storage saves you both time, and money!
The main difference is that we bring the storage unit to you. That means: There’s no need to drive to a storage facility You don’t need to hire a ute, van, truck or removalists and You only need to load/unload your items once. Your belongings go from your door straight into your Ezebox! Traditional self storage can be time consuming and expensive! Check out how much you can save here.
You need to have all items ready to be loaded into the Ezebox when our team arrives. This means small items packed into proper moving / storage boxes, secured with paper so nothing can move about in transit. Larger items should be wrapped in bubble wrap, protective pads or blankets, (we can supply these if required). It is your responsibility to ensure your items are prepared appropriately for storage.
All Ezeboxes are stored inside our secure warehouse, (think onsite manager, roller doors, CCTV and padlocks) at 40 400 Somerville Road, West Footscray VIC 3012, (back of the complex – just follow the signs). If West Footscray does not suit you, remember that because we are mobile storage we come to you! You may never need to come and visit your items? Or we can bring them back to you at a location that is more convenient!
You can store pretty much everything! Keep an eye out for super heavy items or items that measure over 2.3m as they will not be suitable for storage in an EZEBOX. For safety reasons you cannot store anything that is flammable, hazardous, (i.e. guns) or perishable.
